Created by playwright Zizi Majid, illustrator Muhammad Izdi and digital artist Jérémie Bellot, the six-minute theatrical experience on the facade of the museum brings the past 700 years of Singapore's port city history to life.

There's also plenty going on at Festival Village @ Armenian Street, including Peranakan-themed festivities, eclectic music, food and drinks.

A few steps away from the main lights, beside The Bible House, is a futuristic structure inspired by Singapore's first experimental botanical garden, built circa 1822 by Sir Stamford Raffles.

Funan

The Funan Kinetic Wall has been taken over by the SeaScape Symphony, a display of otherworldly sea creatures and aquatic landscapes found along Singapore's shores.

Stamford Arts Centre

This quirky installation, inspired by the flora and the Sanskrit term for play, Lila (लला), is designed to draw participants to the seesaws like moths to light.

Bugis Street

As you're strolling Bugis Street, look up to marvel at Florescence, an inflatable installation where a giant periwinkle flower seems to have taken over the building, with "stems" growing through the windows.

Here's some fun trivia: in Singapore's early days as a bustling port city, the periwinkle held significance as a traded item thanks to its medicinal properties.
