On the menu is a pretty wide selection of mains, sides, hot and cold drinks, as well as a selection of enticing desserts. A great option for first-time diners is the popular Dosirak Rice Bowl ($15.90), which presents humble ingredients like Korean spam, kimchi, seaweed and a sunny side up egg served over rice in a traditional Korean lunchbox.

As the meal is meant to be eaten with the ingredients mixed up, diners are provided with a lid that they can close the lunchbox with and shake the rice up. The bowl will look like a Korean bibimbap when ready to be eaten.

Those who prefer a more filling meal can choose the Japanese Ramen ($9.90), which comes with a generous serving of broth and noodles. Its toppings include some chopped leeks, a sausage, slices of fishcake and half a ramen egg.

Prefer something lighter? The Japanese Canadian Premium Okonomi Hotdog ($13.90) features a bockwurst sausage in a hotdog bun, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and served with a side of fries. We liked that the hotdog was not too salty, which really lets the toppings on the bun shine.

For drinks, the cafe's in-house special Dalgona Honeycomb ($9.90) is definitely a winner with its smooth and creamy flavour. The coffee is well-balanced and does not taste too sweet nor bitter.

Tea-drinkers are also in for a treat. The Blue Blossom ($4.50) incorporates blue pea with cultured milk to create a beverage with a gorgeous gradient. Each glass comes topped with tiny blue pea blossoms.

We had a little space left over for dessert and decided to go with the Hojicha Pudding ($7.90), which looks like an elevated version of the adorable delicious milk pudding jars sold in Japanese convenience stores! The taste of the hojicha added a depth of flavour, without being too overpowering and fragrant.
