Not all food queues are worth the wait, but we're tempted to say that the one at Mister Donut at Junction 8 is, even with its dramatic snaking line extending to another floor.
But no matter, the queue is about to ease a little as the Japanese donut chain is opening a second outlet in Singapore at another heartland mall - Velocity @ Novena Square.
Slated to open on 6 July, this new outlet will have a 20-seater café serving freshly brewed coffee and tea.

Of course, it will offer the full range of donuts including the signature Pon De Ring glazed mochi donuts, airy French Cruller donuts, traditional Yeast Donuts and Singapore-exclusive flavours.

Those willing to brave the inevitable queues on the opening day can look forward to a Lucky Draw to snag prizes including limited-edition Mister Donut Mugs.
