Mister Donut Singapore Review: 20 Flavours Including Famous Mochi Donuts & Exclusive Strawberry Chocolate

To all you donut lovers, it's finally happening: Mister Donut has landed in Singapore and will be opening its first outlet at Junction 8 on 21 May.

The Japanese donut chain will be offering four varieties of donuts in signature flavours as well as Singapore-exclusive specials.

We were most excited for the famed Pon De Ring mochi donuts and are happy to report that they lived up to all the hype.

This addictive treat had a pleasantly crisp fried exterior and lightly chewy insides. It wasn’t too sweet and did not feel the least bit jelak.

Another one that’s sure to be a hit is the Custard Strawberry French Cruller. This light and fluffy donut had just the right amount of luscious custard inside and is half-dipped in a sweet strawberry glaze reminiscent of strawberry-flavoured Pocky.

If you’re feeling a little adventurous, try one of the Fashion Donuts which had a cookie-like crunch and cake-like centre.

If traditional donuts are your thing, go for the Cream Donuts filled with custard or whipped cream, or the range of Yeast Donuts coated with honey, strawberry chocolate, chocolate or icing sugar.

Mister Donut is also launching Singapore-exclusive flavours - Pon De Ring Chocolate and Strawberry Chocolate.

The Chocolate range will satisfy your donut and cake cravings at once. These donuts are like little tea cakes packed with rich chocolatey flavour.

All the donuts are priced between $2.30 to $2.50 each, and are available in bundle purchases of 6 for $14 or 10 for $23.

On 21 May 2023, Mister Donut will be gifting limited edition folders and sticker sheets with any purchase.

Due to the long queues that will likely ensue, customers are limited to a maximum of 10 pieces (Pon De Ring capped at 4 pieces) per transaction per customer.
