This Cute Dog Is Going Viral For Looking Like A Real-Life Version Of Snoopy From Peanuts

The latest entity to take Instagram by storm isn’t a hot new influencer or memelord. This time, the one that’s making its rounds across all our feeds is a cute doggo - and we’ve got absolutely zero complaints. Named Bayley, this fluffball is cute as she is, but her claim to fame is her striking resemblance to Snoopy from Peanuts.

Bayley lives in the USA with her hooman family and her birthday is on 4 May 2021, which makes her slightly less than just 2 years old at time of writing. Many netizens have pointed out how she looks just like Snoopy, calling her a real-life version of the popular comic character.

Granted, Bayley is a little chonkier than Snoopy, and that can partly be attributed to the fact that Snoopy is a Beagle, while Bayley is a Mini Sheepadodle.

Wait, mini? Yes, despite Bayley’s seemingly large size, she’s actually the smaller version of her kind. It is said that Mini Sheepadoodles can grow to a height of up to 20 inches, while Standard Sheepadoodles can grow up to 27 inches, and weigh twice as much.

For those wondering, a Sheepadoodle is a cross between an Old English Sheepdog and aStandard Poodle (not to be confused with the Toy Poodle). Here’s a “family photo” of Bayley with her parents - you can definitely see both their traits combined in Bayley.

Not all Sheepadoodles look like this; Some of them have mixed colouring on their faces and bodies. Bayley just happens to have a fully white face with black ears, thus giving her the Snoopy-like appearance she’s so famous for.

Bayley’s owners are well-aware of the Snoopy comparisons, and even played along with it, dressing her up as Snoopy’s alter ego Joe Cool on National Look Alike Day.
