Next was a Deep Cleansing Masque for 15 minutes. Great for oily scalps like mine, this deep cleansing masque contains a medley of ingredients like betaine, magnolia extract, olive oil, and jojoba that penetrate deep into the scalp to exfoliate and nourish it at the same time. I especially loved the invigorating scalp massage, which helped the masque to really sink in and work its magic.

Following a wash and blow dry, it was time for the special MaxiKare Ampoule, which is FREE with every trial session. The ampoule is best suited for those experiencing hair thinning and hair loss due to its strengthening properties. It contains provitamin B5 and cysteine to help strengthen hair follicles and also seals in moisture to prevent dry scalp. My hair was then carefully blow-dried and then misted with Protein Hydra Mist to seal in all the effects. The final step was a 20-minute infrared therapy. Outfitted like a helmet, the red LED helps to improve blood circulation to my scalp, while also fighting inflammation and bacteria growth.

Following my treatment, my scalp was scanned again and the results were startling to say the least. All the horrifying dandruff and oil plugs were gone, leaving behind clean and healthy-looking follicles that were free from any blockages. My red and irritated scalp looked calmer and less inflamed too, which impressed me most.
