Themed Photo Studio With Romantic Floral, Forest, & Boho Chic Decor In SG Is Perfect For Pre-Wedding Shoots
Taking pre-wedding photos at nature locations such as Changi Bay Point, Gardens by the Bay, and the Botanic Gardens is highly popular, given that they’re some of the most scenic spots in tiny Singapore. But when it’s not scorching, it’s raining, and there’s always the issue of passers-by inadvertently ending up as photo bombs at these popular attractions.
That’s why it’s worth considering a studio shoot as an alternative - a pre-wedding photoshoot trend that’s getting increasingly popular in Singapore. Not only do you get to dodge unpredictable weather and pose in total air-conditioned comfort, you also get to shoot in complete privacy. And one studio to keep in your watchlist is Pitega Spaces, a themed photography studio in Singapore with set-ups that include floral, boho, and tropical decor.

About Pitega Spaces

Founded in 2020, Pitega Spaces is a homely yet spacious photo studio with a high ceiling and plenty of natural light flooding through its floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s even a loft within the space, where a vine-clad staircase leads up to a mezzanine level.
If their name sounds familiar, that’s because they’re the same studio that had the pink Barbie-themed photo backdrop that resembled a life-sized doll box!

What’s special about Pitega Spaces is that it already comes pre-decorated, unlike many other studios that only come with basic white walls or plain sheets as backdrops. This means that you won’t have to fork out extra for an external styling vendor, thus saving you a significant 3-digit or even 4-digit sum.
Pitega Spaces also differs from themed selfie studios in the sense that you get exclusive usage of the entire space during your time slot. As such, there’s no need to worry about others beating you to your favourite set-ups and having to wait for them to finish as precious time ticks away. The studio is 100% yours, with no other patrons present.
While they’re open for all sorts of bookings including family portraits, corporate shoots, and even workshops, we think they’re an especially great pick for dreamy pre-wedding couple shoots! Here’s a look at their aesthetically-pleasing themes.

Romantic florals

What first caught our eye at Pitega Spaces was their romantic floral set-up, with velvety pink sofa seats paired with pastel-hued preserved flowers. Gold and white tables and faux fur cushions provide an added touch of luxury.

We suggest drawing the translucent curtains shut so that the sunlight shining in won’t look overly glaring, and instead will stream in gently for that soft, ethereal vibe .

Magical forest

Add a fresh splash of colour to your pre-wedding photoshoot with Pitega Spaces’ magical forest theme, which comprises plenty of faux ferns, a prop rock, and even a whole artificial tree dangling with leafy vines, white flowers, and orange accent leaves.

Here, you’ll get everything you’d want in a botanical setting - sans the mud and soil that might dirty your pristine white gown, not to mention the itchy “souvenirs” from mosquitoes and ants. What’s not to love?

Boho chic

For something with a more calming colour palette, there’s the boho chic set-up in neutral tones, with light woody textures and rattan furniture.

The beauty of this set-up is that its various components - such as the stools, screen, and ornaments on the shelf - are all easily moveable, so you can customise it any way you want based on your intended outcome.

Shooting close-up and from wider angles brings about vastly different looks, so there are tons of possibilities within this one theme alone, as is also the case with the other decor styles.

Cosy pantry area

Even the pantry area at Pitega Spaces is photogenic. With a wooden dining table surrounded by mismatched wooden chairs, this cosy nook jazzed up with potted plants resembles a Korean-style cafe. Time to channel your inner unni and oppa for cute K-drama worthy shots!
Rates at Pitega Spaces

Pitega Spaces’ rates are surprisingly affordable, judging from how all-inclusive a session here is. A minimum booking of 2 hours costs $65/hour, but rates by the hour get cheaper the longer your booking is, going as low as $45/hour:
- 2 to 3 hours: $65/hour
- 4 to 5 hours: $60/hour
- 6 to 8 hours: $55/hour
- 10 hours: $45/hour
These rates are constant no matter how many people are part of your session, so feel free to ask your bridesmaids along since they won’t be charged per head entry.
Even better news is that packages can be split into different sessions with 3 months validity, so even if you’ve overestimated the time needed, your remaining hours don’t have to go to waste. Just come back another day to utilise the leftovers, perhaps with different outfits and different loved ones in tow!
Note: Prices stated do not include a photographer.
