Night Safari has launched new Indian Rhinoceros feeding sessions for online booking from today, 17 February 2022.

Unlike their African cousins, the Indian rhinos have one horn and thick, armour-like skin that give them a prehistoric look. Through the feeding interactions, Night Safari hopes guests will better appreciate the vulnerable listed species and support wildlife conservation efforts.

Visitors will be feeding Newari, a 5-year-old Indian rhino from the United Arab Emirates. During the feeding sessions, you can observe how the folds of his skin shift when he moves! You'll also get to learn more about this species as Newari's caretakers will be sharing anecdotes and fun facts.

Guests can participate in the feeding for a contribution of $10 which will go into supporting conservation projects in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Advanced online booking for feeding sessions is required, book your slot at mandai.com.
