Sandara Park Announces An Exciting New Collaboration With Power Entertainment At Singapore Press Con
Fans of K-pop superstar Sandara Park are living their absolute best lives lately. Not only will they stand a chance to meet the singer IRL at Orchard Central tomorrow evening(!!), Dara has also made an appearance today at Raffles Sentosa to announce an exciting new collab with Power Entertainment!
During her press conference, the 2NE1 star shared that the partnership has been a long time coming—in fact, she has been wanting to partner and work together more closely with Power Entertainment since they connected 2 years ago via Waterbomb Singapore.

Speaking with great enthusiasm, Dara explained that the reason for this collab is because of her goal to connect better with fans from all around Southeast Asia and raise the bar for fan interactions. She finds that in the last few years, she has evolved a lot as an artist. Instead of focusing solely on performing music the way that it was produced for her, she is more interested in creating original music and giving performances that connect deeply with audiences.

One example is her newest album, REPRISM, which dropped on 20 June and features tracks that she has personally produced. Using the image of a prism, through which white light can be separated into shades of a rainbow, this album is focused on showing off sides of her that others were previously unaware of and have not seen before.
Her song 'Nail' in particular was created to show off a cooler, funkier style than her usual sound. "I want to show you that Sandara can do rock music too," she says, adding that the song gives fans a glimpse of her future while reimagining her signature sound.

Due to her work in producing music, Dara muses that "so far, I feel I haven't started, but in the future I want to create stages for the fans which they can feel are relatable". And this dream can only be achieved when she works "with people who know the fans and local culture the most".
