About darn time, seeing as there have already been numerous other character-themed hotel stays for fans of Miffy, LINE FRIENDS, and Disney’s Mickey & Friends. Sanrio fans are in for a real treat, for Singapore’s first-ever Hello Kitty hotel rooms are now open for booking! This kawaii staycation experience that's officially licensed by Sanrio will be held in Fairmont Singapore’s Fairmont Rooms, which come with pool or city views and private balconies.

Based on the photos, the rooms will be minimally accessorised with Hello Kitty-themed bedding and such. It is also said that the hotel’s lobby will be decked out in Sanrio decor, including a Hello Kitty sculpture that you can take pictures with. But the major highlight is really the exclusive merchandise you’ll be getting as freebies - a whopping 9 pieces of Hello Kitty collectibles!
