Fans of folklore and all things magical, this one’s for you. We found a liqueur called Viniq, which comes in a mysterious purple shade and has clouds of shimmer dust swirling around in it - making it look like an enchanted elixir straight out of a fantasy series a la Harry Potter or LOTR.

Hailing from the largest family winery in America, Viniq is a bottled liqueur that comes in an alluring purple shade, and shimmers ethereally when swirled and shaken thanks to the edible glitter dust infused into it. This blend of premium vodka, moscato wine, and natural fruity flavours of peach, citrus, and berry is said to have a refreshing and sweet taste. Each bottle is 750ml and has a 20% alcohol content, much like other liquors.

Don’t stop at simply pouring it into a regular mug for a guzzle. You’ll want to bring out your best drinkware to appreciate this mystical concoction in its full glory - pinkie in air, optional. It looks especially gorgeous and galaxy-like when poured into a tall champagne glass, and is perfect for celebrations during Christmas, New Year, and birthdays.

Alas, Viniq has since been discontinued sometime in the past 2 years - clicking on the viniq.com website now auto-redirects to the website of E&J Gallo Winery, the parent company of the shimmery liqueur.

But hold your horses, for you might still have a chance to get a bottle of this rare drink in Singapore. We found a Carouseller, @epication, selling this for $130 per bottle. According to the listing, he has 2 bottles left. The seller is active on the online platform, but the listing was posted 4 years ago, so you’ll have to try your luck to see his stock is still available.

We also found a listing for Viniq on My Classifieds, a local classified ads website. It’s being sold for $330 per bottle, and apparently there’s ready stock, with a local mobile number listed.

If all else fails, you can try searching international platforms such as eBay. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these rare unicorns of the alcohol world, it’s likely that you’ve managed to snag one of the last few bottles left in existence. In the meantime, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this will somehow come back in production one day!

Note: It is important to exercise caution and make your own judgement when purchasing from such online platforms. GirlStyle Singapore will not be responsible for any shopping mishaps.
