Bottled Sakura Martini With Floating Flower Petals Now In Singapore, Mini Version Also Available
Sakura season - or rather, Singapore’s pirated version featuring trumpet flowers - may be over, but the obsessing over anything cherry blossom-related isn’t going to stop. We just came to know of the bottled Sakura Martini by new alcohol store, Pony Cocktail, and it’s super gorgeous with real floating flower petals within!
Read on to find out more about the bottle Sakura Martini by Pony Cocktails!
Pony Cocktails is a bottled cocktail store by Jigger & Pony, a popular craft cocktail bar in town. With their new venture, you’ll be able to sip on their concoctions in the comfort of your home on days you don’t feel like heading out. Or on particularly rough days at work where you need some liquid magic to survive through till 6pm.
All these bottled cocktails are handcrafted by Jigger & Pony’s skilled bartenders themselves, so you won’t be getting any less in terms of taste or quality.
Great news: This Sakura Martini is part of their Signature series, so it’s available all year round and not just during Spring! What first drew us to it is how it comes with whole, real, sakura flowers, floating delicately in the bottle. Fun fact: These sakura blooms are carefully handpicked at their peak only in one week of each year.
- Roku Gin
- Sake vermouth
- Sakura leaf essence
- Merlet Creme de Peche
This bottled martini is said to be smooth and crisp, with a distinct floral flavour. Don’t be fooled by its sweet taste, though - it has an alcohol percentage of 29%, so go easy!
There’s also a cute mini 200ml version that you can have all to yourself as a personal serving. It’s probably small enough to fit into your work handbag #justsaying ;)
The full-sized Sakura Martini from Pony Cocktails costs $75 for 500ml, while the mini one costs $34 for 200ml. Orders above $70 come with free next-day local delivery. Otherwise, shipping costs a flat $8. You can also opt for free self-collection at Humpback, located at Bukit Pasoh (near Outram Park MRT).
