Ranveer Singh's New Song 'Mere Gully Mein' Will Make You Fall In Love With Desi Rap All Over Again
Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar is going to be a treat to hear for all the folks who are madly in love with rap. The newest track is a new version of the 2015's favourite song by Divine and Naezy, 'Meri Gully Mein'. The song has just got a fresh touch from none other than our BABA aka Ranveer Singh. The song which was released yesterday from the movie stars Bollywood biggies like Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and we swear to god, it is LIT AF!
The film is inspired by the life of rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh also known as Naezy. The first song of the movie, which also happens to be the trailer called 'Asli Hip Hop' went out to be the most trending songs at the beginning of the year 2019. We must say it is a killer soundtrack and definitely our jam for this party season. In fact, all the three songs that have been released including 'Apna Time Ayega', we seem to be loving it all! We hail to Ranveer Singh as the new god of rap, cause he is simply outstanding at everything he does.
The same song with teeny-weeny changes in the music and lyrics, the song is a perfect mix with Ranveer's raw voice and all the other required ingredients to make the movie a super hit at the box office.

His role in the new movie is quite different to that he was doing in the previous year, i.e periodic dramas and this time we would see him in a completely new avatar which is raw, music-worthy and shot right in the busy streets of Mumbai. And if you loved the previous songs, then you are definitely going to love this one even more.
Also, let's get real, it's not at all easy to rhyme words and be so quick with the singing when it comes to a good desi rap. While some of our already existing rappers might have been able to do a good job at it now but Ranveer Singh being an actor has managed to do a perfect job at this new genre as well.
We are also freaking out over the new cool dancing moves in the song, and it is our step for all the upcoming parties this season. Bring it on cause we are ready to hit the dance floor!
