Their on-screen jodi has been such a visual treat for all the visual fans that we just couldn't wait to see them work together in a movie after their wedding. And we got so excited when we heard that Deepika was approached to play Kapil Dev's wife Romi in his biopic, wherein her dearest hubby Ranveer would be playing the role of Kapil Dev himself.

Well, we guess our excitement didn't last that long because as per the sources, Deepika has turned down the offer of the film. The source revealed to Deccan Chronicle, "83 is a boy's film. The focus is on Kapil Dev and his team bringing home the World Cup. Ranveer plays Kapil Dev. While Deepika playing his wife Romi sounds tempting, it's just not true. Kapil Dev's wife's role will be very limited in this film and Deepika is a huge brand. She wouldn't do any film just because her husband is in it."

We were initially disheartened when he heard about the news, but we are extremely proud of Deepika for setting an example that it is not always necessary to let your personal life influence your professional workspace.

Deepika also refused to be a part of Aamir Khan's Mahabharata, but it is confirmed that she will play the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Now the reports claim that DP has signed a movie with film director Luv Ranjan and guess who is the male lead? Well, Ranbir Kapoor, oh yes guys, no you haven't read it wrong. It's none other than Ranbir Kapoor and the duo is all set the screen on fire again. From Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha they simply rocked it together on the big screen.

It is said that Ajay Devgan will also be a part of the film and Deepika was the first choice as their female lead. A source also revealed, "In spite of two solid male stars, Ranjan's film has a terrific role for the female lead."

Eagerly waiting to see movies of both Ranveer Singh Padukone & Deepika Singh Padukone!
