Saif Ali Khan is turning 48 today, so we decided that to make things fun, we'll go through his selective filmography and just figure out all the interesting highs and lows of his highly interesting career. Buckle up, it's gonna be a roller-coaster!
Starting with Aashik Awara. This movie was the debut of our beloved Nawab and well, it was.... something.
I think the picture alone can capture the essence of the film. But then again, just enjoy the movie for that hairstyle!

Jumping straight to Main Khiladi Tu Anari and all we think of is - chura ke dil meraaaa goriya chali...

Now to the mega-hit, ensemble family melodrama Hum Saath-Saath Hain, where Saif played the hyperactive Vinod, who was honestly a bit irritating and needed to calm down. But then again, the whole movie needed to calm down!

Now to the 18 year old movie that was recently brought to our minds again thanks to Kanan and Biswa. Kya Kehna was also... something! But Saif's character was surely a jerk.

Finally to the good stuff - Dil Chahta Hai. Enough cannot be said for this classic. It's evergreen and Saif is simply a delight. Also, look at his pants!

In 2004, When Harry Met Sally was adapted for Indian audiences and the movie was Hum Tum with Saif in the main role. This movie was a turning point in his career as it properly established him as a lead hero.
Also, as charming as the movie was, do you all also think that he should have gotten a National Award for Best Actor?

In 2005, Saif truly impressed the audiences and critics with his stellar role as Shekhar in the magnificent Parineeta. It's a masterpiece of a movie.

Omkara was another film that marveled the audiences and in particular, Saif's portrayal of main antagonist, Ishwar 'Langda' Tyagi. Omkara was an Indian adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello and it was one heck of a film.

We are jumping straight to 2013 now because in the subsequent years after Omkara, he did some average-to-bad movies. Nothing to talk about there.
Coming to Go Goa Gone, a zombie comedy, Saif starred as Boris a zombie slayer. A movie doesn't get a cult status for nothing. It's crazy amazing!

Again jumping to 2018 for same reasons, Saif starred in another off-beat film called Kaalakaandi, a zoner comedy. Definitely an unexpected choice but we loved him for taking it!

And now to few months ago - Sacred Games, which is turning out to be a revolution of sorts for Indian viewing experience. Not only is it a series on Netflix, but it's the first Indian series on the international platform. Also, it's being adored by audiences and critics, alike.
