Coming back to why our morning was special, a picture of the celeb couple caught our attention just a few hours ago and we are so excited. Guess what? Deepika Padukone's first look for the much-awaited Kapil Dev's biopic '83 starring Ranveer Singh is now out.
In the picture shared, the actress is all smiles as she looks at the off-screen and on-screen man Ranveer Singh. Deepika will be seen playing Ranveer AKA Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia. Dressed in black, the 34-year-old actress can be seen sporting a short hairdo we are in absolute awe with the look. The movie '83 is helmed by Kabir Khan which will reunite Deepika & Ranveer onscreen after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani.
Sharing her look from '83, Deepika Padukone wrote, " To be able to play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour. I've seen very closely the role a wife plays in the success of her husband’s professional and personal aspirations in my mother and 83 for me in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own...#thisis83".

This will be Deepika and Ranveer's first appearance together after getting married in 2018. 83' is about India's first-ever cricket world cup victory in 1983. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screen on April 10 this year.
