Some people commented, 'Music band kar', 'Tereko Hindi nahi aata hai kya?', 'Joker lag raha hai'. Ranveer replied, "Tumlogo ko kuch kaam dhanda nahi hain? Tumlog kuch aur jaake karo na mere life me kyu aaye ho?"

Recently, he headed to Hyderabad to film the climax of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar. He has also wrapped up the shooting of Kabir Khan's '83. In it, he will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev. Deepika will be seen essaying his wife, Romi Bhatia. The movie is set to release next year. Ranveer also has Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Takht in his kitty. His film, Gully Boy is India's official entry for Oscars 2020. Deepika will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak.
