Light earthen diyas with oil at your home rather than candles. Not only diyas can be reused multiple times but they are also easily degradable. Candles on the other hand contain some toxins that can be harmful for both environment and your health.

Make use of flowers to create rangoli at your place instead of using chemical colours. Chemical colours do look appealing but they are not good for human and pets health. Try flowers, rice powder, turmeric and kumkum for rangoli making.

It is important to take the responsibility of discarding the waste created by us. Waste can be anything it can be plastic wrappers, burned crackers, sweet boxes, etc. After using the products is it our duty to discard them properly. All the waste should properly be differentiated into degradable and non degradable category before disposing them accordingly.
