Blackpink is arguably the world’s hottest girl group right now. From Coachella to the Met Gala, Blackpink members - Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa - never fail to stun with their stylish fashion and beauty looks. Lisa’s music video for her solo single ‘LALISA’ is no exception. In fact, the Thai national just set a world record as her music video reached 100 million views just two days after its premiere.
Read on for some of the most stunning beauty looks from Lisa’s solo debut!
#1 Painting the town red
Created by Blackpink’s makeup artist Lee Myung Sun (@iammaeng) for Lisa’s album teaser, this look has three key elements: performance-proof skin, a cut crease with red lip liner, and a bold red lip.
And seeing how Lisa is the global ambassador for M.A.C, this stunning look was created with the brand’s essentials, including:
- M.A.C Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Show Gold, $62
- M.A.C Lip Pencil in Redd, $16 (for the graphic cut crease)
- M.A.C Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick in FLUSTered, $33
#2 Nailing it
Nail artist Park Eunkyung designed 8 different sets of nails for Lisa’s solo debut, each to pair with a different outfit. Our faves? The super elaborate gold and silver talons that pay tribute to Lisa’s Thai heritage, and the diamante chains dangling from a set of black and silver nails, adding a touch of glamour to the power suit Lisa wore at the 1:22 minute mark.
#3 Bling empire
Bold eye makeup isn’t a new look on Lisa, but she really took things up a notch for her solo effort. Now, excuse us while we try to stick some rhinestones along our eyelids and the inner corners of our eyes. How, you ask? Some eyelash glue and repurposed nail art decoration or bling from craft supply stores!
#4 Going for gold
Towards the end of the MV, Lisa pays tribute to her Thai heritage and donned an all-gold look, consisting of a traditional costume by Asava, a traditional headdress from Hooks by Prapakas, and jewellery by Sarran (all Thai brands). And if you look closely, there’s also specks of gold highlight on the inner corners of Lisa’s eyes, a gold tint on her lips and gold shimmer on her arms and hands.
#5 Casual but cool
Just because you’re in casual or loungewear doesn’t mean that you can’t turn a look, and Lisa’s makeup in her ‘LALISA’ MV is proof. Clad in an oversized sweatshirt and beanie, Lisa still looks striking with her poker-straight highlighted hair and light makeup that adds definition to her eyes without being too over-the-top.
