Crayon Shin-chan: Shrouded in Mystery! The Flowers of Tenkazu Academy, as its name suggests, is a mystery flick - but unlike the usual mystery thrillers from Hollywood, this is a more lighthearted story that’ll have you chuckling from time to time.

So the story goes like this: Shinnosuke Nohara (aka Shinchan) and his buddies go on a week-long stay to an elite boarding school called Tenkatōitsu Kasukabe Private Academy, nicknamed Tenkasu, which is managed by state-of-the-art AI. The bunch of them then make it a point to become one of the elites themselves.
However, Shinchan’s friend Toru Kazama gets attacked out of the blue, leaving him with reduced intelligence - and a series of bite marks on his butt. Yes, of course there’s something butt-related involved, for this is a Shinchan film we’re talking about!

Teaming up with the school’s dropout student council president Chishio Atsuki, the local defence force forms a group of detectives to unveil the mystery behind this strange attack. Of course, it goes without saying that Shinchan is part of this detective squad. Join him as he uncovers clues to find out who the culprit is!
While this 105-minute movie is only releasing to the public in Singapore on 9 September 2021, it was already shown in theatres in Japan from July 30 - debuting at second place in the Japanese Box Office and earning around US$2.81 million, all in its opening weekend alone. Now, those are some pretty impressive numbers, which goes to show that this film is one you won’t wanna miss.
