#1 Doughnut Shack
Doughnut Shack is one of the more popular bakeries in Singapore so don't be surprised if you see a queue forming way before the store opens! Their bombolonis have a slight chewy texture and are generously filled to the brim.
They launch different flavours every month so there's always new offerings to look forward to. The lineup for July 2021 includes Donutella, Creme Brûlée, Pistachio Ganache, Peanut Butter Jam, Lemon Curd Cream, Mocha Ganache, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chef's Choice.
Make sure you try the Pistachio!
The self-collection and delivery slots for July 2021 seem to have sold out, but you can try your luck by heading down to the store to get your hands on a box. Head there early to avoid disappointment!
#2 Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery
Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery is the first in Singapore to offer a mashup of sourdough and bombolonis, and they were created by Genevieve Lee, runner-up of MasterChef Singapore 2018.
It's made with sourdough starter and fried in non-greasy coconut oil after 18 to 24 hours of fermentation, then stuffed with fillings.
Their full range of Sourbombe flavours include Cinnabombe, Blueberry & Lemon Thyme, Lavender Lime Mascarpone, Basque Burnt Cheesecake, Hojicha Caramel Crunch, Passionfruit & Caramelised Banana, Basil Cream & Rhubarb, Burnt Honey & Sage Walnuts, and Black Sesame Peanut.
They will also be opening their store on 8 July, with pre-orders commencing on 10 July 2021. Slots are available for self-collection and delivery.

#3 Puffs And Peaks Bakery
Puffs And Peaks Bakery is situated within a neighbourhood and serves quality handmade baked goods by a mother-daughter duo. Their brioche bombolonis are filled with house-made custard and come in a variety of flavours, but take note that flavour availability rotates weekly!
Flavours include Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Matcha, Apple Pie, Hojicha, Taro Coconut, Caramelised Banana, Passionfruit Curd, Lemon Curd, Blackcurrant Peanut Butter, and Strawberry Jam.
They have a weekly menu with pre-orders opening every Monday at 7pm, on a first come first served basis. Apart from bombolonis, you can also get bread, brownies, cookies and more from the bakery.
#4 The Fat Kid Bakery
The Fat Kid Bakery is fairly new as it was founded in 2020 by self-taught baker Ariel Tang, but her sourdough bombolonis will not disappoint! They are light and fluffy with an addictive tang - you might just finish an entire box in one seating.
Try The Classic if you want to savour the slight tanginess of the sourdough bombo without any filling to distract your tastebuds.
Otherwise, get the Chocolate Mess, Earl Grey, Vanilla Creme Brûlée, Roasted Oolong Tea, Apple Pie, Citrus Bomb, Blueberry Cheesecake, Summer Berry, Passionfruit, or Mango Mousse.
The bombolonis are available in-stores, for self-collection and islandwide delivery.
#5 Fluff Bakery
Fluff Bakery is one of the OG halal artisanal bakeries in Singapore selling a myriad of desserts from cakes to cookies. Even though they are best known for their cupcakes, their bombolonis deserve as much love too!
Flavours are rotated every two weeks with Mexican Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, D24 Durian and New York Cheesecake available from 7 to 19 July 2021.
If those aren't your cup of tea, the bakery also sells bombolonis in flavours like Maple French Toast, Chocolate Banana, Raspberry Milk Crumbs and more. Just make sure to keep a lookout for the updated menu every two weeks!
Welovedelish is the brainchild of a former hotel manager, and is inspired by the soft and fluffy pillows often seen in hotel rooms! Dubbed "Delish Hotel Pillow Doughnuts", the bombolonis are ultra soft and light, so you are probably going to feel like you are eating clouds.
The Durian Pengat flavour is perfect for the current durian season, while other flavours like Nutella, Lemon Cream Cheese, Passionfruit Mango, and Chocolate Ganache will cater to those who prefer staying in their comfort zone.
The bombolonis are only available for delivery.
