A lot of us are now at the point where we're not asking for too much. No need for a trip to Europe, Africa or the Americas, just let us go to Bangkok!

While you're yearning for that escape, there's a new Thai dessert cafe in Singapore that'll satiate your wanderlust for a moment - Tearuk Dessert Bar.

Keep reading to find out more!

Located at The Grandstand, Tearuk Dessert Bar is a new cafe that'll make you feel like you're on a holiday in Bangkok.

They specialise in Thai-style desserts like Yaowarat buns ($2.50 each), a street food staple in Bangkok made of a toasted bun stuffed to the brim with fillings.

Bite into the bun and you'll first get that crispy texture of the bread's outer layer, followed by the soft bread inside, before reaching the crescendo of delicious fillings oozing out.

Take your pick from eight fillings: Thai tea kaya, pandan kaya, taro coconut, milk, chocolate, crab mayo, ham & cheese and pizza.
