While you're yearning for that escape, there's a new Thai dessert cafe in Singapore that'll satiate your wanderlust for a moment - Tearuk Dessert Bar.

Keep reading to find out more!

Located at The Grandstand, Tearuk Dessert Bar is a new cafe that'll make you feel like you're on a holiday in Bangkok.

They specialise in Thai-style desserts like Yaowarat buns ($2.50 each), a street food staple in Bangkok made of a toasted bun stuffed to the brim with fillings.

Bite into the bun and you'll first get that crispy texture of the bread's outer layer, followed by the soft bread inside, before reaching the crescendo of delicious fillings oozing out.
