SEA Aquarium Dome Dining: Back With New Spring Theme For CNY & Underwater Dragon Dance
Last year’s festive period came with a whole slew of dome dining experiences, namely at Capitol with free board games, at CHIJMES with a light projection musical, and Aqua Gastronomy at SEA Aquarium - an underwater fine-dining experience at Sentosa.
Tickets for the latter were snapped up in a flash, but if you missed out, here’s another chance to dine among marine life. Aqua Gastronomy: Spring Edition is here specially for the Chinese New Year period, and bookings are already open for dates from now till 28 February 2021. This is said to be the final edition of the pop-up, so it’s truly your last shot!

Having shed its Christmassy decor, Aqua Gastronomy has since taken on a new Spring theme for the Lunar New Year season. Of course, the bubble dome pods and their twinkling fairy lights remain, but in lieu of garlands are oriental lanterns in a myriad of colours.
Round tables in the pods make this experience ideal for small reunion dinners with your immediate family or a close-knit group of friends.

Overhead, cloth bunting and iridescent beads and streamers dangle down, bringing about an eclectic look that’s a mix of tradition and modern quirkiness.

On the 5-course menu this time are modern Asian dishes to suit the occasion. These include Yu Sheng of Smoked Salmon with Cashew Nuts and Tangy Orange Sauce, Suan Cai Patagonian Toothfish with HK Style Lap Mei Fan, and BBQ USDA Prime Ribs with Douchi Glaze and Salted Egg Yolk Cereal. It’s a CNY feast like you’ve never had before!

As with previous editions of the dining pop-up, this one will also come with special light and sound effects, adding to the already ethereal, kaleidoscopic atmosphere.

The real kicker? Your entertainment for the night will be an underwater dragon dance appearance, along with a narration of the folktale centred around the Dragon Emperor and Golden Ox - especially fitting for this year of the ox.
