SEA Aquarium’s Underwater Dome Dining Is Back With New Christmas Theme & Festive Menu
You might have read our previous article on Aqua Gastronomy, the underwater bubble dome dining experience at the SEA Aquarium which got sold out in a flash. If you didn’t manage to book your tickets for that, here’s a second chance, as there’s now a Christmas edition of this premium pop-up from now till 3 January 2021.

While the previous edition of Aqua Gastronomy simply came with domes, this festive version will have them draped in twinkling fairy lights and Christmas garlands - almost as though you’re dining in a little underwater igloo of sorts as marine life swims around you.
As before, this will be a multi-sensory shebang that will include special light and sound effects to heighten the whole experience.

Reservations for November are already sold out, but bookings for December are open as of today.
In the earlier half of December until the 18th, you’ll be treated to a 4-course Holiday Menu ($118 for RWS members, U.P. $138) with seafood dishes like Snowy Morning, which includes Australian abalone and French Sea Whelk. The main course, Northern Lights, is a Japanese-fusion miso cod with glow-in-the-dark shitake bonito essence.

From 19 December onwards, this will be switched to a 5-course Festive Menu ($138 for RWS members, U.P. $168) with more Instagram-worthy dishes and free champagne. Especially mesmerising is Starry Starry Night, a main course of Iberico pork with luminous jellied chicken consomme that’s plated in a celestial formation.
