Xiaomi Has A New Limited Edition Doraemon-Themed Mi 10 Smartphone With Free Case & Toy
It’s easy to decorate your smartphone with a nice phone case, but then again, not so easy when it’s not an iPhone, as designs for other brands can be limited. The next best alternative? Get a themed phone that’s already got designs of its own!
Previously, there was a BTS phone with matching earbuds by Samsung Galaxy. But if you’re not a K-Pop stan and instead prefer cute cartoon characters, perhaps you’ll want to go for Xiaomi’s new Doraemon Mi 10 smartphone instead!

The Doraemon Mi 10 Youth 5G smartphone has the same specs as the regular Mi 10 Youth 5G - including a 48 megapixel quad camera - and was launched just in time for the reopening of the new school term. As its name suggests, it’s made with youths in mind, but hey, adults can feel free to use it too!

The phone comes in a sleek medium blue shade, featuring Doraemon’s face peering out from the black.

Judging from Xiaomi’s visuals, it looks like the phone’s internal themes will also follow suit, with wallpapers and app icons designed to match. Check out the email icon that’s an envelope adorned with Doraemon’s yellow bell!

Don’t worry about covering the character if you’re looking to protect your precious new device with a phone case, because it comes with its own free casing that fits the theme accordingly.

The Xiaomi Doraemon smartphone retails for CNY2799 (~S$555) and can be bought on the Mi store or Xiaomi’s official Tmall store on Taobao. It’s a China-exclusive for now, but you can always get it shipped here via ezbuy. Make sure you click on the “哆啦A梦限定款” option - that’s the Doraemon version in Chinese.
