Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

The humidity in Singapore is the worst enemy of anyone who has fine, limp hair that falls flat at the roots and looks stringy at the ends.

Korean singer and actress Jessica Jung has shared her hair routine that's helpful for those looking to get a more voluminous mane.

#1 Flip your head upside down while blow drying hair

Jessica's first tip to get voluminous hair is to blow dry wet hair while your head is flipped upside down. This "trains" your hair to stand up at the roots rather than lie flat on your scalp.

#2 Crimp hair near the roots

Next, she uses a hair crimper to create crimps on her hair close to the roots. The little waves in the hair makes it fluff up and creates volume at the crown. She leaves out the top layer of hair at the crown which will hide the crimped hair under it.

#3 Spritz on dry shampoo

Spritzing on dry shampoo on the roots of your hair will make sure the volume in your hair lasts all day. It absorbs any excess oil which helps prevent a greasy scalp that makes hair go flat at the roots.

#4 Curl your hair at the ends

If you have fine hair, the ends of your hair may look limp and stringy. Jessica's solution to this is to curl large sections of the last few inches of hair towards the face. You can see the before and after difference below where only her hair on right side of the image is curled. It instantly adds more body to the hair.

Once the ends are curled, brush through your hair to loosen it and create a natural, voluminous look.

#5 Create a pouf and blow dry

Her last tip for volume at the roots is to use a brush to push back on your hair, then push forward to create a little pouf. Blast the hair pouf with the hair dryer and this immediate creates a lift at your roots.
