The new KitKat Chocolatory branch at Miyashita Park Shibuya is a specialty store that sells premium KitKat flavours.

What makes it stand out from the other KitKat stores is the My KitKat service where you can make a one-of-a-kind KitKat for yourself or as a gift for a special someone.

First, you can choose your chocolate flavour: bitter, milk or ruby. Then, you'll pour the melted chocolate into the KitKat mould, push in the wafers and cover it with more chocolate.

On to the fun part, you can design your KitKat using any four toppings from a selection of 17 toppings including marshmallows, mini pretzels, heart-shaped chocolates, sprinkles and edible flowers. Then, your customised KitKat will be left to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Once your KitKat is ready, you can pick from six different packaging designs.

The entire process will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes. There are five My KitKat sessions daily at 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, and 7.30pm. The session costs 2,000 yen (~S$25.99) and you can make reservations at the store.
This branch also offers exclusive KitKat waffles for 1,000 yen each (~S$13).

There's also a fully functional KitKat piano that you can play (but only limited to 10 minutes per person). The entire piano has a chocolate brown colour while the black keys look like KitKat chocolate bars.
