#1 Wall-mounted vanity and tap

Grime tends to accumulate around counter taps when the soap and water runs down it. A wall-mounted faucet takes away those issues and it also makes it easier to wipe the countertop surface underneath it.
Going legs-free for the vanity will make mopping the floor less tedious. It's also one of the ways to make a small bathroom look more spacious!
#2 Built-in sink

A built-in sink has no seams or other areas where dirt and mould can accumulate. It's also easier to wipe down everything into the sink when cleaning!

If you have a bigger budget, consider getting an integrated sink that's even easier to clean and it'll make your bathroom look incredibly luxurious.
#3 Large tiles

Cleaning grout in the bathroom is one of the most annoying chores so minimise the work by having larger tiles. While they're more expensive than small tiles, there'll be less grout lines to clean.
#4 Off-white with details

Black might seem like the obvious colour for flooring and countertops to hide dirt and dust but it actually makes it look more obvious! The best colour for a low maintenance home is an off-white colour with details so dirt camouflages seamlessly with the design.
As for the grout, off-white and grey are colours that will require less upkeep to maintain its appearance.
#5 Ventilation

Many bathrooms in Singapore are on the small side and combined with our humid weather and moisture from the shower, sink and toilet bowl, it can lead to mildew and mould. Proper ventilation from a strong exhaust fan will help minimise these issues.
#6 Simple wall cabinet with mirror

Simple things are easier to clean so go for a plain frameless mirrored cabinet. While having your bathroom essentials on the countertop is convenient, storing it behind doors will make it easier to clean the countertop and prevent the products from getting dusty. Plus, taking away the clutter will make the bathroom look more stylish and spacious!
#7 Frameless shower

Having separate wet and dry areas is one of the ways to make a bathroom look more atas but shower enclosures are notoriously cumbersome to clean, the biggest contributors being frames and handles that are magnets for grime. Design and position the shower enclosure such that there is no need for handles or doors like a frameless glass separator between the wet and dry area.
