S'porean Couple Renews 10th Year Wedding Vows Via Zoom In Front Of 60 Attendees
We have all been affected by the current state of the world one way or another, and no one has been spared. Many couples have decided to postpone their weddings. But others, like Patricia and Dexter, have moved their 10th year wedding vows renewal online.
They renewed their 10th year wedding vows via Zoom in front of 60 attendees and it is the most beautiful thing we have seen.

Zoom has provided a bright spot in an otherwise bleak season that we are in now. A Singaporean couple, Patricia and Dexter, held their 10th year wedding vow renewal via Zoom in front of approximately over 60 attendees last Friday (May 29). They celebrated this meaningful milestone with their family, friends, and loved ones.

According to Patricia, the couple had wanted to hold their 10th year wedding vow renewal in a church, after they got baptized over 2 years ago. However, due to the global pandemic, they decided to go ahead with the wedding vows renewal via Zoom instead as 10 years of marriage was a big milestone for the couple.
The vow renewal ceremony kicked off with their growing up montage videos followed by their wedding day highlights. After the vow renewal, the couple had a round of thanksgiving and their church cell group even surprised them with a touching video. The zoom call ended with a birthday song as it was also Patricia's husband's birthday.

The couple met in 2006 over a work event. It took them a few years to really understand each other before deciding to commit to the relationship. It was only until Dexter was posted to Macau for work opportunities that the couple realise how much they meant to one another. Being absent from one another makes them certain that they want to build a life together. Dexter eventually proposed on 17 May 2009 and they even have two young handsome boys now.
