COVID-19 Cases Recently Visited 4 Locations In West Including Jurong Point & Wet Market
Westies in Singapore might want to be a little extra cautious for a while.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), a number of people infected with COVID-19 were found to have visited various locations around Jurong over the past couple of days, including Jurong Point mall and a wet market.

The number of people who visited these places have not been specified, and it is unclear as to whether they are linked to each other or otherwise.

The locations visited in Jurong Point are as follows:
- 20 May: NTUC FairPrice (4.30pm to 6pm)
- 21 May: Jurong Point - unspecified location (5.30pm to 6.30pm)
- 21 May: Shokutsu Ten Japanese Food Street (5.45pm to 6.15pm)
- 24 May: FairPrice Xtra (1pm to 2pm)

Beyond the mall, a wet market at Block 963 Jurong West Street 91 was also visited on 24 May (6am to 8am).
MOH has already done relevant contact tracing and identified close contacts of the cases.

In the meantime, it would be wise to continue staying home as much as possible, no matter which part of Singapore you live in. Head out only for essential purposes such as grocery shopping, and try to avoid peak hours if you can.
