This All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Has Durian Sushi, Durian Pizza, Durian Chocolate Fountain & More
Fair warning: reading this may cause severe cravings! Those who love the king of fruits may have noticed that durian buffets have really evolved in the last couple of years. We're talking about major indulgence zones like the SG60 Durian Fiesta over at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, where durian has been incorporated (very successfully) into a huge majority of their special lunch and dinner buffet offerings.
Besides sampling all sorts of creative durian dishes, guests can also feast on an extensive collection of lovely durian desserts — many of which come with adorably themed decor that looks 100% IG-worthy.
Here are some of our faves from this all-you-can-eat spread!
Playful durian-infused mains

File these picks under 'Things I Didn’t Expect To Love', because let’s be real, durian served in hot mains does sound like it should be a crime. And yet… the Durian Cranberry & Cheese Pizza is weirdly addictive, the Slow-Roasted Beef with Durian Crust tastes hearty yet subtle, and the creamy and delicate Roasted Seabass with Durian Beurre Blanc had us going back for seconds!

One super unexpected gem is the Durian Sushi, which is served on a conveyor belt! These offer a good combination of savoury and sweet, creamy durian goodness. Rest assured that the taste of durian isn't too overpowering, so you can still taste all the other ingredients.
Durian-themed dessert buffet

In the words of Rihanna: this is what you came for. And of course, these durian desserts more than deliver on both taste and aesthetics, so make sure to save plenty of room for them on your visit!
While everything on the menu is worth a try, the Pandan Layer Durian Cake, Durian Mochi, and Durian Pengat are the ones that made it to our list of must-have items. These moreish treats will have you rushing back to the dessert counter again and again. Best of all, they don't make you feel jelak even after a few servings.

For those who have bigger appetites, fun bites like the Fresh Durian Crème Brûlée, Durian Churros, and Durian Puffs are also worth a go.

Hear us out: the extra-adventurous diners (I have included myself in this!) have also gotta give the Durian and Salted Egg Chocolate Fountain a chance. This eyebrow-raising station may sound wacky — but man, does the unlikely combination taste amazing.
For some reason, the ingenius blend of durian and salted egg balances each other out to perfection. Go on, coat your fave fruit and some marshmallows with it and dig in!
Udders’ durian-inspired SG60 flavours

To top off the awesome durian lineup, diners can enjoy durian flavours specially created by local ice cream brand Udders in celebration of SG60.
-
Durian Cheesecake: creamy, tangy, and rich. Perfect for those who already enjoy cheesecake or cream cheese-type flavours.
-
Durian Pengat: traditional vibes but in ice cream form, made with over 30% real durian flesh, coconut cream, and pandan.
-
Emperor Mao: this one was our fave for sure. As Udders’ ultra-premium bestseller, this ice cream is made with 54% Mao Shan Wang. It’s intense, decadent, and not here to play!
You can get your scoop/s served on a freshly made waffle, in a waffle cone, or in a bowl (for those who are feeling too stuffed to go on).
Bonus: free-flow Musang King durians (dinner buffet only!)

Do take note that this outdoor durian live station is exclusively available during dinner and will only be open from 7pm-9pm.
