As South Korean society is only starting to shift away from the traditional expectations of the mother taking on a majority of childcare and housekeeping responsibilities, its wildly entertaining to see the dads struggle with these duties as well as touching to watch the bond between father and child grow.

Out of the lineup of celebrity families, the Song family is one of the most loved ones! Actor Song Ilgook and his triplet sons, Daehan, Minguk and Manse, stole the hearts of viewers during their appearance in the reality series. ????

#1 The floor painting incident (Ep. 62)

In this episode, Minguk bursts into tears when his teacher scolds him for painting the floor with black ink. His entire thought process from mischief to apprehension and full-blown despair plays out clearly and you can't help but laugh a little while feeling sorry for him. ?

His elder brother sweetly comforts him while the empathetic Manse goes crying to his father when he sees his brother being scolded.

#2 The robot visit (Ep. 108)

Ilgook plants a robot in room while his kids are having a time-out punishment individually. He controls and speaks through the robot while being in another room, and the triplets' reactions are gold! ?

Minguk confesses that his dad is his favourite, right after Frank from Robocar Poli, Manse forgets all about the time-out rules and plays with the robot while Daehan sticks to the rules and is slow to warm up to it.

#3 Hiking (Ep. 77)

Ilgook and the triplets go on a hike with Jion and her dad. Daehan quickly races past the group and heads up the hill on his own, with the cameraman struggling to catch up with him. When he reaches the top, he takes a video of the scenery and the editors play a montage of his past responsible actions. ? His father and brothers catch up eventually and they take a group photo with great difficulty!

#4 Robocar Poli event (Ep. 46)

At a Robocar Poli event, the triplets try out various activities like abseiling and obstacle courses. Ilgook has a hard time trying to get them out of their comfort zone and become stronger as well as finding the ones who have wandered off on their own. ?

#5 Fishing (Ep. 76)

Ilgook and the triplets go fishing but they only manage to catch seaweed! A diver comes along and offers them an octopus. ? The triplets are delighted by the diver's playfulness and Minguk's laughter is especially infectious!

#6 Holding hands (Ep. 55)

While Ilgook tries to have a photoshoot with his kids, he manages to get them all to stop fidgeting and look at the camera by playing their favourite show, Robocar Poli, on his phone. While their dad is snapping away, the triplets are mesmerised by the show and Manse suddenly holds his brothers' hands! The triplets wearing matching traditional Korean outfits and holding hands is too cute. ?

#7 First driving experience (Ep. 51)

Ilgook took his sons to have a drive in automated toy cars and their distinct personalities and driving styles are hilarious to watch! Daehan has fun crashing his car, Minguk turns out to be a skilled driver and Manse gets distracted by birds.

Some highlights are how Manse pretends to transform into an animated car character to help his dad up the stairs and how Minguk politely apologises and asks the cameraman to move out of the way while he's driving. ?

#8 Grocery shopping (Ep. 111)

Ilgook sends the triplets on an errand to pick up ingredients at a market. The toddlers are surprisingly independent and actually managed to complete the task. They even sat down to go through their list and see what they were missing and to split the load of the groceries between them. ?
