New Sylvanian Families Theme Park Is Opening Next Week In Osaka, Japan
Anyone who wants to travel to Japan would be feeling glum with the news that Tokyo Disneyland, Universal Studios Japan and Ghibli Museum will all be extending their closures in light of COVID-19.
There's one good news though, the new Sylvanian Families Theme Park will be opening next week in Osaka, Japan!

Created by Epoch in 1985, Sylvanian Families are an adorable line of collectible animal figurines with charming and beautiful homes, furniture and accessories.

The cute world is now brought to life with a new outdoor theme park that recreates the village of Sylvania where members of the Sylvanian family live! On a site of about 4,500 square metres, you can explore buildings, tree houses and vehicles that look just like the toys!

Feel like you're part of the Sylvanian family when you change into Sylvanian-style clothing and pose with the life-sized animal characters in their cosy home.

The theme park also has recreations of popular elements that often appear in the Sylvanian Family story like the Kirakira Lake and Nijiiro Yochien Bus.

Although this theme park seems targeted at children, we're sure that teens and adults will also love reliving the nostalgia of their childhood and taking lots of cute photos. The Sylvanian Families Theme Park will be opening on 20 March 2020 so if you've planned a trip to Osaka after this date, you're in luck!
Admission fee is ¥600 (~S$8.05) for those over 3 years and admission fee to Harvest Hill is separate.
