Tang yuan AKA glutinous rice balls, a sweet dessert that we eat to celebrate the Winter Solstice Festival (Dongzhi Festival), has many special creations in terms of flavours but some of the more common ones are peanut and black sesame.

They are sold exclusively at FamilyMart convenience stores in Taiwan and costs NT$69 (about SGD 3) per packet. Get them if you are heading to Taiwan soon or ask a friend travelling there to bring a few packets home!
