Tang yuan AKA glutinous rice balls, a sweet dessert that we eat to celebrate the Winter Solstice Festival (Dongzhi Festival), has many special creations in terms of flavours but some of the more common ones are peanut and black sesame.

These tang yuans filled with Skippy peanut butter will probably taste smoother, more fragrant and savoury than the usual peanut tang yuans. Bite into small chunks of peanuts that we are so familiar with for a crunchy burst of flavours in your mouth.

They are sold exclusively at FamilyMart convenience stores in Taiwan and costs NT$69 (about SGD 3) per packet. Get them if you are heading to Taiwan soon or ask a friend travelling there to bring a few packets home!
