According to a report released by HKET, Yang Mi and Hawick have quietly divided their properties and assets in May 2019. Though Yang Mi's net estimated net worth is 4.5 billion RMB (~SGD 794 million), almost nine times more than Hawick's, he did not ask for more.

In fact, he also requested for the complete ownership of the Valverde, an HK$80 million (~SGD 14 million) condominium they purchased together in Hong Kong in 2012.

That same year, Yang Mi and Hawick also established a limited liability company together and purchased another estate in Hong Kong worth HK$30 million (~SGD5 million). In May, Yang Mi officially resigned as a board member of the company.

Today, the Valverde condominium that is worth HK$44 million (~SGD 7 million) is now under Hawick's name.

Yang Mi is the highest-paid actress in China and also the leader and co-owner of Jiaxing Media, the entertainment and media company behind popular artists such as Dilraba Dilmurat, Vin Zhang and more.

Jiaxing Media's successful investments in popular dramas such as Eternal Love and Sweet Dreams have helped Yang Mi's overall estimated net worth to soar up to at least 4.5 billion RMB (~SGD 794 million).

In case you did not know, she is also known as the 'Queen of Endorsements' in China and has worked with countless big brands. To name a few, she is currently the face of Michael Kors and Estée Lauder.

Though not nearly worth as much as Yang Mi, Hawick himself is worth at least 500 million RMB, and is also one of the higher-paying actors in China, with a rumoured 50 million RMB per acting contract.

In an official statement published on Dec 22 last year, Yang Mi and Hawick shared that while the two of them may no longer be living as husband and wife, they will still act as family members to care for and raise their five-year-old daughter known as Xiao Nuo Mi to the public. As friends, they also sincerely wish each other the best for the future.

While Hawick has moved back to Hong Kong to take care of Xiao Nuo Mi full time, Yang Mi, on the other hand, splits her time between China and Hong Kong. She was last spotted returning to Hong Kong in June to celebrate Xiao Nuo Mi's birthday.

Though their relationship is unfortunately short-lived, we believe this split is necessary for both of them to pursue their own happiness. Let's send them our best wishes and may they always be happy and healthy!
