Remember when we used to doodle on our drawing blocks with this thing called crayons? The crayon giant Crayola is now back to tug at our heartstrings with Crayola Beauty, a limited edition collection launched exclusively at ASOS. We are screaming!

And my oh my, the vegan and cruelty-free 58-piece collection runs up to 95 colours (omg!). Guess what? All of the shade names such as Fuzzy Wuzzy and A Dusty Rose are all based on actual Crayola crayon shades! Cuteeee.

The collection features face, lip and cheek crayons, colour-changing lippie, highlighters, mascaras, palettes and magical brushes that we won't be able to resist buying. They are highly pigmented AND reasonably priced, something that we reallllly appreciate.

We've seen a few Crayola Beauty reviews but no one does it like John Maclean. In his latest review, John purchased the Crayola Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Nudes explained that even though there's a mixture of matte and shimmery shades, the overall palette is designed to be more "sparkly, shimmery" but it should work for all skin types.

In his review, he didn't apply any primer on his lids to test out the formula but if he were to use it again, he'd definitely add on a bit of primer for an easier application.

Dayuuummm, son. Check out those lashes!

The Crayola Mascara (available in three colours) is said to have a very simple and functional packaging that is perfect for everyday use. Look at John; it does give off a pretty natural look and he also shared that it feels really soft and is not clumpy at all!

Moving onto the finishing touches, John chose the Crayola Lip and Cheek Crayon in the shade Fuzzy Wuzzy and we are in love with it! If you watch his review, you will see how pigmented the lippie is. With its crayon-like shape, it allows it to act as a lip liner and a lippie. We approve!
