How do you feel about coming back to Singapore for Skechers Sundown Festival?
I'm very happy to be back and it feels like I'm home again. When I was a student at Si Ling Secondary School, I stayed in JB and had to travel in and out of Singapore every day from as early as 3am. A lot of memories were made here so I'm happy to be back this time to catch up with my fans. There's just a sense of familiarity here that warms my heart.

What kind of place is Singapore to you?
Singapore is a very warm place for me because of how friendly and easy-going people here are. It is also one of my favourite food havens! When I was still studying, I would go everywhere just to eat oyster omelettes because they just taste so good!
You performed a tribute to Aloysius Pang during the Skechers Sundown Festival. What kind of person was he to you and what did you learn from him?
My first impression of him was that he was very quiet. But after getting to know him, I found that he's pretty humorous. He would joke around and yet make people feel at ease. He always knew exactly when to be serious.

I worked alongside him in the 2015 Singapore film Young and Fabulous, the movie I played my first lead role. Being on set was completely new for me but he did not judge me. Instead, he guided me and always made me feel at ease. I really appreciated that.
Aloysius is loved by people from all walks of life because he was a very kind, patient and loving guy. These are traits I will remember and hold close to my heart forever.
We watched your recent vlog and learned that you'd be releasing a new album soon! Have you started writing it? What is the inspiration behind it?
I've been busy composing my upcoming album and can't wait to release it! I can't tell you when it will be released but I hope it will be released this year.
In the same Q&A vlog, you shared about how you went from 60KG to 48KG. How did you lose so much weight?
I gained a lot of weight when I first moved to Taiwan. It got to a point when my body was going out of control and that whatever I ate would make me gain weight.
One day I visited a Chinese physician to 'adjust' my body. After that, I went on a really strict diet and said goodbye to all the goodies I stuffed myself with including sweet drinks. No iced milo, no bubble tea. I only drank water! It was miserable but I'm glad the results paid off!

One important thing I learned is to not starve myself. I consumed both carbs and proteins but I limited myself to what my body was capable of burning. I hate going to the gym but cardio was the fastest way for me to lose all the extra fats.
So really, there isn't really a secret, girls. Exercise, eat right and you will be on your way to your dream body!
You are born on 7 March and that makes you a Pisces! Pisceans are known to be one of the most emotional zodiacs. Are you as emotional? How do you usually handle your emotions?
Yes, I am a typical example of a Pisces and I am very, very emotional but I would try my best to not 'explode' or show my emotions. Instead, I would express these emotions through my music and so far that has worked well for me.
Your skin is flawless. (It really is!) Can you share some beauty tips with our audience?
Besides the usual makeup routine that every girl would do, I'm obsessed with washing my face. In fact, I would wash it thrice a day and each time I wash it, I would wash it another thrice. This means my face is washed at least nine times a day and I'm glad that has worked for me.

Another important tip is to ALWAYS remove your makeup. No matter how tired you are please remove your makeup and let your skin breathe!
