Hannah Quinlivan Almost Gave Up Her Relationship With Jay Chou But Look Where They Are Now
Being with the King of Mandopop doesn't mean life would be a bed of roses. Not even when you are Hannah Quinlivan.
Every girl who grew up listening to Jay Chou's songs must have thought about how wonderful it would be if they could marry him. It's no wonder why every girl turned green with envy when Jay walked down the aisle with Taiwanese actress-model Hannah Quinlivan but how was it like for her?
In a recent interview, the mother of two shockingly revealed that she once felt like giving up on her relationship with Jay Chou. *cues 我不配*
During that period, Hannah was extremely pressured and vexed by the conflicting opinions around her and she couldn't understand why their relationship have to kept under wraps. She felt like she was doing something illegal even though she was merely in a relationship.
It was during then when she decided to draw the distance with Jay by flying over to America to study film and after just three days into her stay there, Jay flew over personally to find her. It was then when she knew that he was the one for her and... well, the rest is history.
"At that moment, I felt something and knew that he was the one," Hannah shared, adding that it doesn't matter what age we get married at but what's most is the timing the two meet.
A Happy Family Of Four Today
Today, we world sees a happily married Jay and Hannah with two joys of happiness in their family: their 3-year-old daughter Hathaway and 1-year-old son Romeo.
If you've been following the two closely, you woud notice that the celebrity couple has never revealed their children's faces. With regards to this, Hannah shared that Jay and her hopes their kids will be known to the world through their own merits instead of being known as "Jay's kids" or "Hannah's kids".
She also brought up the example of how she's usually known as "Jay's wife" these days instead of Hannah Quinlivan but she said this is a path she chose. For now, Hannah said that she will wait for her kids to be older and let them decide if they want the world to see their face.
Despite all the challenges Hannah has been through, we are glad her marriage with Jay is still going strong. May the two of them live together in bliss and live happily ever after.
