Halloween is coming, and what better way to commemorate the occasion by sharing some of the scariest and spookiest experiences from our Mediacorp stars who were 'fortunate' (or not) enough to have a taste of the supernatural?

It happened to Carrie when they were filming a night scene at East Coast Park for You Can Be An Angel 3.

At the restrooms, she saw two beautiful women and could distinctly smell their very strong perfume.

They had disappeared by the time she came out of the restroom. She went back to the set and then she smelled the fragrance again very distinctly. It was disturbing. She continued to smell the fragrance throughout the filming and all the way back to back to Mediacorp.

She was completely freaked out by the incident.

According to Elvin one of his first encounter was as a teen in Genting.

Genting is infamous for all kinds of hauntings and supernatural visitors!

"I was taking a nap in the hotel when I started hearing noises. I didn't bother at first but after I went to the washroom, I heard the noise again. It was the sound of something opening and closing. So I went out of the washroom and saw the flap of the false celling in the room opening and closing, repeatedly. At first I thought someone was trying to break in but after checking, there was no one.

I was scared but I stood on a chair and started shouting at the false ceiling. The more forcefully I shouted, the faster and stronger the flap opened and closed.

Eventually I called the reception who sent up two security guards. They came up together but didn’t even step into the room. They attributed the opening and closing of the flap to be the wind and left. But there was no draft in the room – the curtains weren't even moving. Eventually, I got a room change."

There does not seem to be any logical explanation for what happened...It was only then when Elvin began to believe in the supernatural and ever since then has become more 'sensitive' towards such occurrences.

Her first brush with the supernatural was during the filming of the movie Bring Back The Dead. How apt!

The crew were filming in a deserted house that was known to be haunted.

Kudos to them, how brave of the crew.

Before the shoot started, a priest was hired to do some rituals to cleanse the house.

One night however as they were filming in the backyard, the "ghostly presence" was stronger then before. Previously they had not encountered anything till that night.

"Every time we started shooting, the lights would go out.  A couple of actors and actresses didn't feel well too. We then figured out it was because the priest only did rituals in the house itself, but not its surroundings?"

Julie Tan has an unusual 'super power'. She can feel if a place is "unclean" or has a supernatural presence. I guess we all need a friend like her to tell us if there is any haunting presence around us!

Or maybe we could invite her to inspect our houses.

Not quite sure if it's a gift or a curse though.

When she was holidaying in Thailand with a girlfriend, she heard a foreign sounding woman talking really loudly in the middle of the night in her hotel room. (we wonder which hotel)

The woman sounded Thai and was speaking with a distinct accent.

She woke her friend up immediately and asked her friend if she could hear the lady talking.

Her friend apparently did not hear a thing, which was strange because according to Julie, the voice was LOUD.

She was certain it was not a dream.

Since her friends all knew about her 'special ability', they decided to quickly go back to sleep and pretend that nothing happened....though it was obvious that the voice was not something from this dimension.

Ugh. Creepy.

Looks like Julie has more talents then just acting!

Is your hair standing yet? If not, it's time to pay the Universal Studios Singapore a visit for their Halloween Horror Nights 8...and maybe you might just encounter something 'special' like our stars.
