Goodwood Park Hotel Has A New Sakura-Themed Afternoon Tea Buffet With Pink-Hued Japanese Treats
Missing (or missed out on) the cherry blossom season in Japan, Korea and China? Here's a little sakura-themed experience in Singapore to ease the fomo: Springtime Sakura Afternoon Tea Buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel's L'Espresso.
Their classic English Afternoon Tea Buffet now has a hanami-worthy flair with splashes of pink, cherry blossom-shaped treats, and hearty Japanese flavours.

The finger sandwiches look so aesthetic with the pink and green bread. Fillings include classics like ham and cucumber & cream cheese, as well as the Japanese-style egg salad that's a fancier take on the popular tamago sando.
Next, fill up your plate with the dainty open-faced sandwiches like mentaiko prawn with ikura and Japanese chicken salad with potato and sakura denbu.

Save some stomach space for the croissants that have indulgent fillings like smoked salmon and parma ham with brie cheese.

Keep a lookout for the Chef's Specials, served for a limited time during each buffet session. It includes the crispy unagi & uni arancini, succulent nikujaga wagyu beef cheek with carrot purée, and silky smooth Japanese pudding.

Once you're satiated with savouries, move on to the sweets table. It features a spread of Japanese-style desserts like Castella, Hokkaido custard cream puffs, matcha pistachio cake, and hojicha yuzu mousse cake. There's also a pretty sakura entremets cake that's shaped like a cherry blossom!

Rounding up the buffet are matcha and yuzu sorbet, charcuterie, cheeses and gravlax salmon. Of course, the afternoon tea comes with a choice of tea or coffee, which is best paired with the scones in flavours such as pistachio, maple pecan and apricot, served with an assortment of spreads and clotted cream.
