Seeing Double: Celebrities And Their Stunt Doubles
Often, we find ourselves thinking, "Wow, these celebrities really trained hard for their movies." But little do we know, most of them have their own stunt doubles on set, performing dangerous scenes for them. Not all movie stars use stunt doubles, though. Take Tom Cruise, for example. He's famously known for doing his own stunts in the Mission Impossible series, where he held his breath underwater for 6 whole minutes and rode his motorcycle off a very high cliff with a parachute. Another actor famous for doing his own stunts is Jackie Chan. Although he does rely on stunt doubles for some riskier scenes, he mostly does his own stunts. Back in the 1980s, while filming Armour of God (龍兄虎弟), he broke his skull and suffered hearing loss (omg right). He's also skilled at choreographing stunts.
So, here's a compilation of celebrities and their doppelgängers. Let's see if you find them familiar!
