My journey kicked off upon arrival at TrichoKare, where I answered a quick health questionnaire and discussed my hair and scalp concerns with a TrichoKare consultant. She then used the Tricho-scan, which has up to 200x magnification, to find out more about the condition of my scalp.
To my astonishment and embarrassment, I could immediately see that my scalp was nowhere as clean or oil-free as I had imagined, despite my attempts to keep it that way!

While I felt disgusted by the sight of dead skin cells and sebum buildup around my hair follicles — which explained my struggle with dull hair — the consultant explained that this problem was common in hot climates like Singapore’s, and could be resolved with a scalp treatment customised to target my issues.
First, a hair and scalp specialist brushed on a European Herbal Scalp Masque specially formulated to address my individual needs. Once the masque had approximately 15-20 minutes to sit and my scalp fully absorbed the nutrients, it was time for a quick rinse.
