We Found A Takeout Kiosk Where You Can Mix & Match Your Own Sushi Platter From Just $0.50 Per Piece
Everybody gets a little too busy sometimes, but having no time to sit down and dine in at an amazing eatery doesn't mean you have to skip out on your favourite foods entirely! Takeout sushi is one awesome way to combat this — it's fast, convenient, yummy, and comes with plenty of options.

While most sushi bentos are not the most wallet-friendly, we've found a rather affordable takeout kiosk where prices start at just $0.50 per piece of sushi! Located right outside Bishan MRT station, Itacho Sushi Takeaway may look like a rather small outlet from the outside, but it offers an impressive spread of options.

To start with, shoppers can mix and match their favourite sushi items from the display fridge to make a custom platter. Besides commonly found sushi variations like Inari Sushi ($0.50), Salmon Sushi ($0.70), and Scallop Sushi ($1), you'll also find unique selections like Tamago w/ Truffle Olive Sauce ($2.50), Crab Stick Salad w/Ebiko Roll ($1), and Tuna Corn Box Sushi ($1).

There are also plenty of other options up for grabs, like heated donburi, maki rolls, fresh sashimi, and Japanese desserts. During our visit, we spotted ready-to-eat Warabi Mochi ($4.50) in Matcha and Kinako flavours, as well as fruit-flavoured Daifuku ($2.80). You can also round off your meal by getting canned and packet drinks or indulging in some sake!
