Think you’ve visited all the best animal petting cafes in Singapore? Snow Pawttage is about to make you change your mind. This new spot is not your regular dog petting clubhouse — they’re the first ones to feature a roster of pure samoyed dogs in Singapore!
Visitors can pet, play, cuddle, and pose for photos with the playful and well-trained Samoyeds in a clean and safe environment. What’s more, these adorable good boys have tails dyed in different candy floss shades so guests can tell them apart easily. They also react to their names (inspired by K-pop artists) and have been taught tricks!
While Snow Pawttage doesn’t serve any food or drinks, any animal lover will certainly feel refreshed after a session spent with these charming fur babies.

#3: Step into Whisperlodge ASMR’s immersive world of relaxing sounds, sights, and textures

If the name Whisperlodge ASMR sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because you’ve heard of their immersive ASMR experiences online, or even tried it for yourself at the Whisperlodge x SainouSpace pop-up last year. For the uninitiated, Whisperlodge is an NYC-based company that specialises in creating ASMR-style performances, complete with comforting sounds and textures.

Their current installation, titled Wishful Thinking, is one unique programme under the Light to Night festival that includes a series of rooms designed to heighten your senses and increase mindfulness. This exhibit is ideal for those who want to satisfy their curiosity about ASMR performances in real life, or those hoping to sneak in a little rest and relaxation amidst their hectic schedules.
#4: Marvel at amazing light installations, live performances and the setting off of gigantic firecrackers at River Hongbao 2024

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a literal bang at the annual River Hongbao, which has a whole plethora of exciting festivities lined up. This year’s celebration is set to be one of the biggest (and loudest) in the last decade, thanks to a spectacular display of 30 firecrackers measuring a whopping 18 meters in length total! These will be lit on the first three days of the event, so make sure you catch them before they’re all gone.

Visitors can also expect to see a 140-meter-long string of dragon lanterns hung from Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, alongside the crowd-favourite God of Fortune figure and live stage performances. For those who end up feeling peckish, fret not! The Food Street, which is located at The Meadow, will remain open to dish up snacks and refreshments throughout the evening.
#5: Be dazzled by the extravagant lineup of floats and performers at this year’s floral-themed Chingay Parade

Returning with this year’s theme of ‘Blossom’, which signifies the transformation and growth of individuals and communities alike, we expect the upcoming Chingay Parade 2024 to be nothing less than a blooming feast for the senses.

Get ready to be wowed by vibrant performers from different ethnicities and cultures all decked out in fantastic costumes and props and showcasing their craft from a dazzling series of floats. You can also look out for the flower-inspired outfits and motifs which will be used to tie the show together, an aspect that’s unique to this year’s parade.
#6: Release your very own wish-filled floating lanterns at Singapore’s inaugural Sky Lantern Festival

If you’ve always wanted to release floating lanterns into the sky, like those at festivals in Taiwan or Chiang Mai, here’s your chance — and you won’t even have to leave the country to do it! For the first time ever, Singapore will be having its very own sky lantern festival, which will be held at Sentosa.
Attendees can first enjoy a happy hour and music festival session at Palawan Green, followed by a grand ceremony to kick things into high gear, before lighting up and releasing their wish-filled lanterns into the sky. Night owls and those who aren’t in the mood to call it a day can also enjoy the afterparty that lasts from 10pm till late.

Maybe it's the myriad seasonal blooms that take the spotlight during this period, or the creative flower towers and installations — either way, this year’s Dahlia Dreams is certainly one to add to our must-visit list.

To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, a nearly 7-meter-tall dragon will serve as a centrepiece of the space, with part of the dragon’s scales made up of painstakingly hand-arranged dahlias. The space will also be filled with over a thousand dahlias of varying shapes, sizes and shades. That’s not all! Visitors can also expect to see four lantern sets and a towering Dragon sculpture specially created by British-born sculptor James Doran-Webb.
#10: Take a walk through an enchanted outdoor trail at Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Fans of the Wizarding World can soon live out their magical dreams at Sentosa with Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, a Forbidden Forest-themed outdoor trail by Warner Bros. studio. Coming off successful runs in the US and UK, Singapore Potterheads will be the first in Asia to explore this limited-time experience.
