New Doraemon x ANESSA Pop-Up In Singapore Has A Claw Machine, UV Camera To Test Your Sunscreen & More
Doraemon has stepped through The Anywhere Door and transported to the Doraemon x ANESSA Pop-Up at ION Orchard! The mall's atrium has been transformed into a whimsical, sky-inspired space filled with photo-worthy spots, informative zones and a claw machine.

This pop-up is in celebration of Anessa's new limited-edition Doraemon sunscreens. Anessa, a Japanese brand under the Shiseido company, is best known for their stellar sunscreens that not only have powerful UV protection but also skincare ingredients. Two of their sunscreens now come in adorable packaging featuring Doraemon and his sister Dorami.
The Anessa Doraemon Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF 50+ PA++++ ($42.50, 60ml) contains a blend of plant-derived moisturising ingredients that prevent skin ageing caused by UV rays while plumping to the skin. It also has a beauty-enhancing effect that creates the look of translucent, glowing skin.
If you have sensitive skin, go for the ANESSA Dorami Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Milk SPF 50+ PA++++ ($42.50, 60ml). This ultra-gentle sunscreen disperses UV- protecting agents at a nano-level and is mild enough for children and babies to use.
Both sunscreens have a smooth, silky feeling on the skin and a lightweight, non-sticky texture that's holds up even in our humid weather.

Besides the photo ops, the pop-up also has UV cameras where you can detect how well you have applied your sunscreen. Get up close to the camera and have a look! If your face looks like it's completely covered in black paint, you've done a great job at applying sunscreen! If you spot non-black or light patches, those are the areas that need more sunscreen. This darkened effect is the camera failing to detect UV, indicating that the skin is protected from UV light.
Not wearing sunscreen? You can see the cool UV effect by applying the Anessa sunscreens and watching the covered areas of the skin turn black on camera.

There's also a claw machine where shoppers who spent a min. of $60 nett on Anessa products can have a go at catching one of the balls. Inside them are prizes worth up to $299.

The pop-up will run from 3 to 9 April 2023 at ION Orchard B4 Atrium (outside Watsons) and the Anessa Doraemon Perfect UV Milk and Dorami Perfect UV Mild Milk is retailing in limited quantities at Watsons, Welcia, Anessa Lazada and Anessa Shopee.
