Thanks to the rise of the Japanese yami kawaii fashion style which combines cutesiness with darker elements, Kuromi is now gaining increasing popularity among fans. Recognising this, Sanrio has released a series of new Kuromi phone wallpapers that you can save for free!

For the uninitiated: No, Kuromi isn’t “evil My Melody”, but she does also happen to be a rabbit. In fact, she’s My Melody’s rival, and despite her tough appearance, she’s still a girly girl and a romantic at heart.
