Singapore Artist Has Adorable Animal-Themed Phone Wallpapers In Soothing Tones For Free Download
We’ve done quite a few phone wallpaper compilations, but these are usually from international artists or large companies like Sanrio and Disney. It’s about time we shed light on our local talents as well, so here’s a shoutout for SmoreMermaid (@smoremermaid.studio on Instagram) - a talented Singapore-based artist who creates adorable illustrations of woodland creatures and turns them into stickers, washi tape, and other cute little knick-knacks.
She has very kindly created a series of phone wallpapers that anyone can download for free, and in line with her brand’s aesthetic, these all come in soothing pastel tones that will instantly calm you whenever you glance at your home screen or text convo background.

SmoreMermaid was started by Lienn, who used to travel the world for a living. When the pandemic struck, her career came to a standstill and she turned to painting in her free time. She realised that this was something she was passionate about, and decided to turn her art into stationery items. Her whole brand is centered around Teddy, a little brown bear, and his animal friends.
Since January this year, she has been releasing monthly phone wallpapers featuring her original characters. These come in 2 variants per month: one with just the illustrations, and one that’s calendar-style for scatterbrained folks to easily refer to for the day and date. Check them out below:
