The dozens of weddings that happened this year are making us feel nostalgic about the best on-screen Bollywood dulhans that we just can't get over with. To see who was your favourite from the lot scroll down for the ultimate on-screen bridal inspiration.
Anushka Sharma- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Anushka taught us on how to go retro in the Muslim bridal avatar while portraying her character Alizeh in the movie. She opted for a smokey eye look with thick kohl-rimmed eyes, nicely defined brows and nude lips. To create volume in her hair, it was teased at the front so that she gets to flaunt her beautiful studded paasa.
Deepika Padukone - Padmaavat

DP's role as Rani Padmavati is exquisite and worth trying, especially if you are a Rajasthani bride. Take notes from Deepika if you are madly in love with jewellery like a heavy neckpiece, maangtika and a larger than life nose ring. Given this was a jewellery dominated look, the makeup was kept subtle with kohl-rimmed eyes and a bindi on her forehead for the special Indian touch.
Kareena Kapoor - Veere Di Wedding

With Rhea Kapoor being the fashion guru the lady boss Kareena Kapoor gave us some pretty fashion & beauty moments in the movie. Her role as Kalindi Puri in the Punjabi bridal look was a breath of fresh air with a boho-chic pulled back plated hairstyle that was adorned with flowers. And how can we miss out on the beautiful lehenga with dangling details on the blouse? No doubt Punjabi's like to keep it EXTRA always!
Alia Bhatt - 2 States

The typical Tamilian bride is very well captured by Alia Bhatt in 2 states wherein she looked gorgeous as ever. The red fusion saree with the contrasting orange brocade blouse speaks volume about simplicity. She taught us how to keep it less with the basic ethnic jewellery like a kamarbandh and Kundan neckpiece. And our absolute favourite is the gajra in her hair with a long plait. She too sports the no-makeup look for this character with just peach lips and a winged liner.
Priyanka Chopra - Gunday

Bengali brides can take inspiration from Piggy Chops in her look from Gunday and we must say she looked every bit of traditional in the dulhan avatar. Like an ideal bong bride, she wore a red Banarasi saree with a puffed sleeve blouse. She also kept her makeup simple with less of accessories but what stands out to us is the unique Chandan design above her eyes, the huge bindi and the traditional crown.
