You would have seen Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's wedding over a thousand times on your feed and we have no second doubts on how beautiful the wedding was. Anushka had sent a wave of shock and excitement both to the entire Bollywood industry when she revealed the news about her wedding in Italy. Nevertheless, we were extremely happy to see the two cuties tie a knot with each other for an eternity and they looked absolutely stunning together.

However, there were a few things from Anushka's bridal look that caught our attention and we must say she looked no less than a princess for her dreamy fairytale wedding. Anushka became the ultimate trendsetter for all the brides to be with her new touch to the traditional rules of marriages in India.

Sleek hair do's

Anushka opted for the classic and chic sleek hair for her functions and we couldn't have asked for more. She brought the poker straight hair back in trend with her gorgeous as ever looks for the wedding ceremonies. She kept her hair open for her Mehendi function and for her engagement and wedding she wore her hair in a sleek bun with a middle parting.

For both her engagement and wedding ceremony, Anushka was seen wearing huge fresh flowers in her hair bun which covered her entire hair. The modern twist for her hairstyles was our favourite part of the entire look and she looked absolutely mind-blowing. Anushka sported traditional gajras around her bun for a classy and simple look on her reception.

Kohl-rimmed eyes

Anushka went out of the box when it came to experimenting with her makeup looks which traditional Indian brides are utmostly scared of and we are really thankful to her to introduce us to this trend. She opted for kohl-rimmed eyes instead of opting for a smokey eye look which seems to be one of the most raging makeup looks in the beauty industry.

Mini bindi on the forehead

Let's not miss out on the bindi for her wedding, while this isn't the first time we have seen her wearing a bindi. She loves adding bindi to her ethnic looks but what we love is her signature style of adding a smaller sized bindi aligned at the centre of her brows.

Wedding and pre-wedding outfits

Anushka opted for completely different looks for all her wedding ceremonies. Unlike other brides who mostly choose red for their D-day, Anushka chose to wear sheer embroidered lehenga in pastel pink colour. She chose a traditional Banarasi saree for her first reception, shimmery lehenga for second reception, maroon saree in velvet fabric for engagement and a lehenga with different pop of colours for the mehendi.

No makeup- makeup look

Anushka kept her makeup minimal with fresh dewy skin for a refreshing look on her special day. Loads of kajal on the waterline, nude lipstick and subtle contouring for a fresh and fabulous look at all the ceremonies. And we had to bow down to the diva for teaching all the girls to embrace their natural beauty. She didn't even use fake lashes and let her natural glow take the centre stage.

Beautiful bridal jewellery

Anushka matched the jewellery with the pinks in her wedding ensemble and layered two stunning necklaces with pale pink spinels and red rubies. Her earrings were equally beautiful and her polki and gold bangles with golden kaleereyy adorned her hands even more with the statement nath completing her bridal look.
