Bollywood Fashion Buzz At Durga Pooja Festivities 2018
Durga Puja festivities are going on in full swing and various Bollywood celebrities are celebrating the gala festival in vogue. Various celebs are spotted at pandals to pay their respect to Goddess Durga. The festival is all about vibrant colours which adds to the spark of celebrations. Devotees who are on pandal hopping like to dress up in different outfits on each day of the festival. While various women choose to wear sarees, there are few other options that you can explore.
We spotted various celebrities at pandals this year flaunting their fashion styles and enjoying the auspicious day to the fullest.
Topping our list is the renowned bong beauty and actress Sushmita Sen who was seen taking active participation in all the traditions with her daughters Renee and Alisah. The actress looked as stunning as ever while she performed the dhunuchi naach in the honour of Maa Durga. Check out her graceful moves!
She was seen in a traditional Bengali laal paar saree as per the Bengali customs wherein she donned a beige saree with mirror work border and an authentic dark red v-neck blouse that had golden based embroidery only on the sleeves. The blouse was again backless, with a dori to tie at the back which is a classic trend that she is bringing back with this fantabulous outfit. To complete her look she kept her hair in a high-knot bun and wore a pair of traditional golden jhumkas as well as a necklace.
Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda also visited the pandal to seek blessings from Goddess Durga in a rather simple way and we are totally up for it! The simplicity of the family to attend the ceremonies is what we are living for. Kudos to the Bachchan family for making subtle a new trend this year. The ladies of the Bachchan family were seen wearing vibrant colours like green and white saree with baby pink blouse which was perfect for the occasion.
Meanwhile, actress Chitrangda Singh was also spotted at the pandal in a gorgeous neon green coloured suit. Beautiful would be an understatement for her TBH. Neon is trending like fire this year and what better than her outfit in this case? She has styled it amazingly with pretty gold plated jhumkas and flats to keep it traditional yet chic. Her salwar-suit consists of a plain kurta and wide palazzo pants with minimal embroidery on the dupatta and the borders. We so wanna try this out for ourselves!
Kajol also showed her presence at one of the Durga Puja pandals in a bright yellow saree with a light green border and she paired it with a lighter yellow sleeveless blouse. Do you see guys? Again a vibrant colour! Looks like these vibrant colours are the ultimate go-to option for the season. Kajol accessorised her look with a long silver neckpiece which seemed perfectly appropriate for the event.
The key is to let the colour speak for itself while keeping all the other additional things like heavy embroidery and accessories at bay! This is a must try during the festivals if you wish to look cool as cool as the B-town stars.
